School Safety

Road Safety - Parents' Vehicles

Parents are reminded of the need for care in the school car park and in the streets surrounding the school to avoid the danger of accidents to pupils. Vehicles should only be parked in marked bays within the school car park and if parking outside the school, please do not park on the zig-zag lines.

Pupil Pick-Up Arrangements

Young children should be picked up by an adult at the end of the school day. Parents/Carers should make it known to the class teachers if there is a change to arrangements.

If picking up a child during the school day please report to the school office.

Any person picking up a child should be over the age of 16.

 P.E- Children's Jewellery

Parents/Carers are reminded of the need for pupils to have all jewellery removed at home on the mornings before Physical Education lessons.

If you wish your child's ears to be pierced, please do so at the beginning of the summer holidays. Children are not permitted to take part in P.E with earrings in and the healing time is 6 weeks. This means your child will miss out on 12 lessons. Hooped earrings should not be worn at any time because of the possibility of an accident.

School Playground

Parents/Carers are reminded that smoking and dogs are not permitted in the playground.

When waiting for children at the end of the day, please stand against the fence at the pitch so children can see who is collecting them and exits are not blocked.
